People & animals

I have enjoyed meeting many people and animals during a lifetime of travelling.

In Kenya I met giraffes, chicken keepers, cheetahs (and others I have yet to paint), and encountered elephants, snakes (and their charmers) in India. 

 

Through breeding rare Caspian horses, I have travelled to Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Iran and much of Europe.  Some subjects were nearer to home - except for the puffins!

My animal companions are now two much-loved cats, who I look forward to drawing and painting in all their infinite moods.  As for lobsters and crabs – who hasn’t marvelled at the beautiful colours of crustaceans and fish in their wild state?
